MEDICAL MANUSCRIPT RESEARCH CENTRE
In the annals of medical science, Indian Yogis & Siddhars by their own acquisition of knowledge through penance have presented the Siddha Traditional System of Medicines for almost all types of diseases. The Traditional Medical Science invented by Siddhars have been written in palm leaf manuscripts that explain clearly the structure, function and treatment of all human ailments. The manuscripts also offer a detailed study of etiology, diagnosis, prognosis, prevention and treatment of almost all diseases of human being, which have been not yet been analysed.
We are well aware that scientific research and evidence based treatments are essential to implement our siddha medicines for curing present diseases. In this connection a Medical Manuscript Research Centre was started in the year 2007 comprising of Siddha Medical Experts, Varma Physicians, Tamil Pandits and Manuscript Research Scholars under the dynamic leadership of Chief Physician Dr.S.Ramaswamy Pillai. This Centre has in its custody around 500 bundles of Medical palm leaf manuscripts, 100’s of Paper Medical Manuscripts and 1000’s of rare collections of Siddha Medical books, which are truly the invaluable assets of our ancestors. We have digitalized around 500 bundles of our own Medical Manuscripts and nearly 3000 bundles of medical manuscripts from outsource for ready reference. Recently our manuscripts are cleaned and oiled by National Mission for Manuscripts, Government of India, New Delhi.
With the help of our Medical Manuscript Research Centre, we are able to provide apt treatments and preparing highly potential and efficative medicines which are 100% natural, safe and without side effects and adverse effects for promoting Global Health.
